Liron Sissman, MBA, Artist, and Founder
Art is my lifelong passion. In 2000 I started exhibiting and selling my artwork. It was serendipity when AtlantiCare acquired many of my artworks for their Harmony Pavilion in Atlantic City, NJ. This acquisition has since become the first of many AtlantiCare network hospital purchases of my art. With time, other hospitals, doctor offices, and wellness centers followed.
Working with art consultants on numerous hospital projects, I learned what works and the reasons for these choices.
Healthcare Art was launched to facilitate this process. It offers an easily searchable curated art collection known to put patients at ease, engage the senses, and promote well-being.
Steven Labkoff, MD and Master Photographer
Dr. Labkoff is an Internist, a Cardiologist, and a Master Photographer.
Dr. Labkoff has consistently observed that patients who are exposed to nature - be it though a window or though art - did better in the Cardiac Care Unit. Taking this observation to heart, he creates healing images; many of which received national and international acclaim.
Dr. Labkoff images are acquired by hospitals and clinics around the country.
